The target group of SSSR is socially and economically marginalized. The organization is directly or indirectly working with around 43,236 families belonging to different social groups, such as Gurjar, Jat, Bairwa, Mali, Meena, Yadav and the Muslims. The major development challenges faced by members of these caste and class groups are lack of livelihood opportunities because of poor natural resource endowments, social ills because of low educational status, poor health, inadequate access to Government schemes and benefits, limited skill set, and lack of access to vocational training for enhancing their Present skill set.
There are five thematic areas, on which the organization’s present work is focused, namely-
- Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs)
- Health and Nutrition
- Education and Child Protection
- Livelihoods
- Women empowerment.
